No spoilers here but let's just say The Sopranos season opener was worth the wait the hype. I don't think HBO has to worry about ABC and Desperate Housewives. The goings-on on Wisteria Lane pale by comparisons to the deep story lines on The Sopranos. Not only that, the dark humor is far more effective.
I have to brush up on the cast because I haven't watched the show since Tony ran off, letting Johnny Sack get busted by the FBI in 2004.
There is one shocking scene (whew!) in this week's episode to remind you that this is clearly not for children. I don't care if you do let the kids see South Park.
