Sure, we can have a couple months between two seasons of a television series but to have almost as much time between two parts of one season and especially after the halfway point episode ends on such an incredible cliffhanger (I won't say anything that may spoil it for timeshifters).

I've never been a huge fan of science fiction but Battlestar Galactica has been great and season 2 is much better than season 1.
